Happy Monkey

Happiness Defined

The cartoon is the first of its kind to feature the gorillas’ signature trademark grin and grin, and has been created to highlight the “special and unique nature” of the gorilla.

The cartoon was commissioned by the Australian Wildlife Foundation in 2015, with the cartoonist also creating the gorilla, but the project was scrapped when the Foundation decided the gorilla could not be “used to sell toys”.

In 2018, the Foundation unveiled a new gorilla character in the form of the Gorilla Man, which is named after the famous animal.

The gorilla’s name is not officially recognised in Australia and has not appeared in the official Australian Animal Health Register.

But in the year 2020, the Gorillaboy trademark was registered, which allows it to be used by organisations such as the Animal Health Council and the Gorillas of the World Foundation, which are recognised in the world’s animal health community.

“This is a unique project, but it is not something we are just starting, it is something that is a part of our long-term plan,” said Dr Michael Jourdan, director of the Animal Research Centre at the University of New South Wales.

“It has a lot of cultural significance in Australia, and there’s also the potential for commercial use in countries where it has been used.”

The Gorillarayan monkey is not a gorilla, although it shares its name with a species of gorilla.

Its name comes from the word Gorilla, which means “gorilla” in the language of the Zulu people.

The Australian Zoo has been known to use gorillas for a number of years, including a series of live events at the Sydney Zoo and a gorilla sculpture at the Royal Botanic Gardens.

However, the gorilla is the only species in the gorilla family that has never been legally protected in Australia.

Dr Jouradan said it was the first time a live-action gorilla had been used in a commercial context.

“I think this is really exciting for the industry, and it’s really important for us to be able to use them in a very specific way,” he said.

“They have been known in the community for a long time, so it’s great to see them being used in something new.”
